Bartlett Lake Information
Bartlett can produce largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, catfish and crappie

41 miles from downtown Phoenix

Bartlett Lake is the closest lake to the Phoenix area on the Verde River

The lake is 12 miles long and a maximum depth of 188 feet

Fully stocked dock store
offers a variety of food and beverage choices,
as well as clothing, bait and tackle

Bartlett Lake Marina rents pontoon boats for half- or full days, hourly, overnight or for the whole weekend. Each boat is roughly 20 feet long and comes equipped with a covered awning and upholstered seats

Upper Bartlett Lake, Rattlesnake and South Cove recreation sites provide areas for camping with trailers, picnicking, fishing and boating and are open year-round. Trailers longer than 16 feet are not recommended.

Bartlett Lake Accessibility:

There are facilities at the lake, hilly but with some nice areas to fish from shore. This lake is well worth the trip if you live in Phoenix or Flagstaff. The Jojoba Boating Site provides a paved launching ramp, except during low water levels. The marina facility, with services, is available. The road to Bartlett is paved.

The area is remote and rough enough that we would recommend assistance.
